We were introduced through a mutual friend — a simple meeting that planted the first seed of something beautiful. What began as a casual connection quietly grew into a sense of comfort and familiarity we hadn’t expected. Looking back, it was the start of something destined — even if we didn’t realize it yet.
2024
As time went on, we encountered many highs and lows — moments that tested our faith and filled us with uncertainty. We stood at life’s crossroads, questioning whether we were meant to continue. Yet through it all, fate quietly worked behind the scenes. Though distance and silence came between us, the bond we once shared remained — quietly waiting, patiently enduring.
Late 2024
Our paths crossed once more — this time, with clearer hearts and deeper purpose. We chose to reconnect, not just as two people in love, but as partners ready to build a life together. With sincere intention, we brought our mothers together in one place, one time. Their blessing became our anchor, and in the warmth of Yogyakarta, we sealed our commitment through a simple yet meaningful engagement. Through challenges, faith, and honest conversations, we decided to walk forward — hand in hand, with love, trust, and gratitude.
2025
As we had always dreamed, our sacred vow will be made at the holiest place on earth — beneath the gaze of the Kaaba at the heart of Masjidil Haram. On a blessed Friday, the 28th of Ramadan 1446 H, we begin this new chapter as husband and wife. In the holy sanctuary of Al-Haram, we say Bismillah — and ask for Allah’s mercy and barakah upon our union, now and always.
