We first met in 2022,
at Hoi Tin,
a well-known Chinese restaurant in Amsterdam’s Chinatown.
It was meant to be nothing more than a junior-senior gathering,
an evening of familiar faces and easy laughter—
yet quietly, fate was at work.

From that night, something lingered:
a spark carried gently across oceans.
A message slipped into Instagram,
a reply that grew into endless conversations—
until words became laughter,
and laughter became love.

Amsterdam became the cradle of our story.
Here, we had our first date at New King,
wandered hand in hand along the Amsterdam canals,
listened to Kerkstraat fall into dusk,
and felt the hum of Amsterdam Centraal, alive with possibility.
Every corner sheltered a memory,
every street held a piece of us.


Amsterdam is not only where we met—
it is where we became us.

On December 29th, 2024,
our second anniversary,
Stanley proposed at De Soematra.
It was quiet, intimate,
a moment we shared only with our families and closest friends.


Nearly a year later,
we signed our civil vows in Amsterdam—
the city where every chapter of our story began,
and where it continues to unfold.
